Hilton Worldwide has embarked on an ambitious multi-year master plan to renovate and rejuvenate the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa, its premier Waikiki property. Jerry Gibson, Hilton’s area vice president, said, “By implementing this visionary master plan, Hilton is underscoring its continued long-term commitment to Waikiki and to Hawaii.”

Where’s Next?

Although Costa Rica has been the real estate darling of Central America for the few years, Roatán, a bay island off the
coast of Honduras, could be shaping up to usurp its place. “Honduras, and Roatán in particular, should become, if not the next big thing, at a minimum one of the big things in Central America,” says Gustavo de la Serna, Resort Condominium International’s business development director for Central America.

Uptown Orlando – A New Trend for Timeshare?

The opening of Marriott’s Lakeshore Reserve at Grande Lakes is part of a trend toward the upscale in Orlando, which previously had not been known for luxury accommodations. The new Marriott Vacation Club offerings are part of the larger Grande Lakes Orlando, a development of 500+ acres containing The Ritz-Carlton Orlando and JW Marriott
Orlando hotels.
