Anantara Vacation Club invites guests to celebrate The Year of the Monkey and the world’s most romantic holiday at Club Resorts in Phuket, Thailand and Seminyak, Bali. Anantara Vacation Club Mai Khao Phuket and Anantara Vacation Club Seminyak Bali will be offering delightful activities and memorable experiences for couples and families to mark the Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day.

“We are delighted to offer Club Members these unique celebrations for two of our favourite holidays,” said Lyndon Ellis, general manager of Anantara Vacation Club Mai Khao Phuket. “This year, Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day provide the perfect bookends for a week-long vacation at Anantara Vacation Club. Our festive and authentic celebrations will create memorable experiences for our guests.”

“Many families are making special arrangements and gathering together across the region to spend quality time with their loved ones. With a Vacation Club Ownership, owners and their families can enjoy a traditional holiday with the comforts of home while enjoying an exotic new location,” added Lyndon.

Chinese New Year falls on 8 February, 2016 and is the Year of the Monkey. At Anantara Vacation Club Mai Khao Phuket, the award winning resort in northwest Phuket, the day-long celebration includes Chinese traditions like a Lion Dance through the resort, Chinese fair games and traditional Chinese songs. Guests can participate in Chinese crafts, like making traditional Chinese cookies, painting umbrellas and fans, and crafting lanterns. At Chaam, the resort’s signature restaurant, a sumptuous buffet of Chinese dishes will include Dim Sum, Peking Duck, fried rice, noodle dishes and a variety of Chinese-inspired main dishes and desserts. The buffet is offered on 8 February from 6.30 pm – 10.00 pm at THB 888 plus tax and service charge. At the end of the day, guests will discover a thoughtful turndown gift of a beautiful box filled with local sweets.

On Valentine’s Day, kids can make hand-made Valentine’s cards and other heart-inspired crafts. Chaam will feature a romantic prix fixe menu from 12 – 14 Feburary at THB 1,500 plus tax and service charge.

At Anantara Vacation Club Seminyak Bali, the Year of the Monkey will be marked with activities that infuse Balinese elements into traditional Chinese celebrations. Kids’ activities will include special monkey-inspired arts and crafts. A delicious Chinese-inspired menu will feature Peking Duck spring rolls, dim sum, pork belly and sweet and sour seafood. Dinner is offered at K 250 plus taxes and service charge. After dinner, guests will finish the day with a memorable ceremonial lantern release.
