Employees within the Classic Holidays family of Australian timeshare resorts win national accommodation award honours.

Orlando, Florida – December 26, 2012 – (INTUITION by Perspective Group) – Australian timeshare holiday provider Classic Holidays announces that resort employees have been presented with two Accommodation Association Achievers’ Awards for 2012 by the Accommodation Association of Australia.

Nick and Susan Trew, Property Managers of Pacific Palms Resort, Elizabeth Beach, NSW were recognized in the Property Manager 50 Rooms or Less category, while the Employee of the Year was awarded to Terry Jeffrey, Maintenance Officer at Golden Shores Holiday Club, Labrador, QLD.

The winners were drawn from a broad range of accommodation operations in both metropolitan and regional Australia, including businesses in Sydney, Melbourne, on the Gold Coast, Toowoomba and the Great Lakes region in NSW.

“It’s great to see our staff winning excellence in service awards up amongst some of the leading brand hotels in Australia. It’s important that timeshare is seen as an active participant in the broader tourism industry and these awards give us great credibility and recognition of the professionalism that our staff possess,” said Carole Smith, Chief Operating Officer, Classic Holidays.

Nominees were asked to provide video submissions to make their case for the awards, with the winners announced at an event in Sydney earlier this month.

“Nick and Susan have demonstrated passion and dedication in managing Pacific Palms Resort. Together they have ensured the smooth operation of the property and the provision of an all-around tourism experience for their guests,” added Smith. “Terry is a valued member of the Golden Shores team. He is passionate about providing the best service to guests and he has emphasised the value of teamwork through his outstanding relationships with colleagues.”

These are just the latest in a series of national and international awards that Classic Holidays has collected in 2012. In addition to resort recognition at the NSW North Coast Tourism Awards, the company was also presented with several awards by the Australian Timeshare and Holiday Ownership Council and voted Best Management Company by industry professionals as part of the internationally acclaimed Perspective Magazine Awards program.
