Anantara Vacation Club is committed to offering owners and guests authentic cultural programming and festive happenings for an array of holidays. Coming this April, Anantara Vacation Club Phuket Mai Khao will celebrate Songkran, the Thai New Year, while in July; Anantara Vacation Club Bali Seminyak will observe the Pura Piodalan Resort Temple Ceremony.
On April 13, Anantara Vacation Club Phuket Mai Khao will celebrate Songkran, Thailand’s New Year, with a festive long drum parade and pool boxing show. Guests will enjoy complimentary Thai snacks and shaved ice while watching and/or participating in the parade and boxing show at 3 p.m. in the lobby. The property’s signature restaurant, Chaam, will offer a delectable holiday feast enabling diners to discover the tastes of Siam with a buffet offering cuisine from four regions of Thailand and a succulent seafood barbeque enjoyed alongside fire dancer performers and live music. The dinner will take place from 19:00-22:00 hours and runs THB 999++per adult or THB 499++per child aged 4-12.
At Anantara Vacation Club Bali Seminyak, guests will be invited to observe the Pura Piodalan Resort Temple Ceremony with a traditional Balinese feast and celebration on July 13. Piodalan is a bi-annual Hindu ceremony where participants thank the gods and spirits for protection over the resort, guests, and employees, and ask them for their blessing for the future. Guests will be invited to pay respects and make offerings at the resort temple for the occasion, and afterward will be treated to a delectable Balinese dinner, Rijsttafel, complete with traditional Balinese dancing and entertainment.
