Company expansion and new corporate headquarters give Australia’s largest privately held timeshare company reasons to cheer.
Orlando, Florida – November 23, 2012 – (INTUITION by Perspective Group) – Classic Holidays, the largest privately held timeshare company in Australia, has experienced significant growth in 2012 as it continues to implement changes for the benefit of its expanding membership base.
“From the new head office in Varsity Lakes on the Gold Coast to additional resort affiliations and a newly designed corporate brand, Classic has made excellent strides this year to meet the evolving needs of our members,” said Ramy Filo, CEO, Classic Group. “Delivering an extremely high level of customer service is very important and our Bermuda Point location has allowed Classic to expand our capabilities to a 100-seat call centre, which will certainly enable us to better deliver on our service promise.”
Classic Holidays is now responsible for over 650 employees between corporate staff and resort personnel, while the latest resort to come onboard, Boambee Bay Resort in Coffs Harbour, brings the total of Classic managed holiday resorts up to 14 resorts in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
The holiday ownership leader has also been raking in awards this year, taking the Perspective Magazine Award for Best Management Company while Classic-managed resort Vacation Village in Port Macquarie, NSW was named as Gold Medalist in the 2012 North Coast Tourism Awards in the standard accommodation category. Vacation Village also received a Gold Industry Recognition Award and a Hospitality Award at the Australian Timeshare and Holiday Ownership Council industry conference held in Cairns, where Classic staff were also recognized for Sales Team of the Year, Corporate Team of the Year, Marketing Performer of the Year, Excellence in Service and Resort Managers of the Year awards. In addition, Classic’s travel services partner, IYC Travel, was given several Top Affiliate awards at the Jetset Travelworld Group, Queensland Industry Awards.
Classic Holidays has also put substantial resources into refurbishment projects for Beach House Seaside Resort in Coolangatta and Tiki Village International Resort, located in the heart of Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast.
“While well-presented rooms and good facilities are important, it’s the customer service that the guest receives during their stay that actually makes the difference. Our guest satisfaction record is 90% or better, reflecting the customer-centric culture that drives every decision we make,” added Filo.
