And timeshare owners in general are using the product in droves, with the most recent industry statistics available (circa 2009) from the Australian Timeshare and Holiday Ownership Council (ATHOC) showing that the timeshare industry has an 86% occupancy rate, signifying that the vast majority of timeshare owners use and enjoy the product. Those statistics also estimated that 152,000 Australian families own timeshare and, while those numbers are sure to be higher now, the totals still suggest that Classic Holidays enjoys significant market share within the Australian timeshare industry.
