July 19, 2017 – Hoteles City Express, S.A.B. de C.V. (“Hoteles City” or “the Company”) (BMV: HCITY), announced the opening of City Express Junior Puebla Angelopolis, City Express Altamira and an expansion of the existing City Express Merida hotel, reaching 127 hotels in operation and more than 14,200 available rooms.
City Express Altamira has 127 available rooms and was developed under a co-owned scheme. This hotel will benefit from economic activity flowing from new investments in the region due to energy reforms.
Finally, the expansion of City Express Merida – also a co-owned property – represents an increase of 42 additional rooms to the existing 130 rooms. This expansion aims to take advantage of economic growth in the city, which is also a major tourist drawcard.
