Orlando, Florida, November 15, 2017 – (INTUITION) The Canadian Vacation Ownership Association’s annual conference, which was held from September 12-14 at the Four Seasons Resort & Residences in Whistler, Canada was a standout success for the only association in Canada dedicated to representing the interests of the vacation ownership and resort development industries. VO-Con truly delivered with the perfect combination of networking opportunities, educational seminars, and business leads.

CVOA worked directly with INTUITION, a powerful Customer Engagement Solution that is changing the way hotels and resorts communicate with guests and manage online reputation, to analyze VO-Con 2017 attendee’s feedback after the conference. According to INTUITION’s findings, a perfect 100-percent of attendees surveyed felt that VO-Con ‘17 met their expectations.

The positive feedback continued with more than 95% rating the networking opportunities as “good or excellent”.

Again, 100% of people noted that they had met new people, with 76% of attendees acknowledging that they had found potential new business leads that collectively could be worth in excess of $6million dollars.

VO-Con has set itself apart from other conferences in the industry by blending business with pleasure in a more laid-back environment. 96.7% of attendees surveyed enjoyed the casual attire for the event compared to other industry conferences which are more formal in nature. When registrants were asked about attending future VO-Con events, 97% of attendees indicated they were likely to attend, with one attendee stating, “I see the value to the strengthening of the entire industry as each of us does our part to contribute to unity by attendance. It takes each of us doing our part to make all of us successful.”

This year, attendees were treated to a meal prepared by famed chef, television personality, and VO-Con 2017 keynote speaker, Vikram Vij, as well as a hypnosis-based motivational keynote speech by Wayne Lee. Attendees also took part in informative panels and discussions about the vacation ownership industry.

“We were delighted with the positivity and interaction of our attendees this year, who all enjoyed the different approach we took and were very complimentary about the networking opportunities.” Says Jon Zwickel, CEO and President of CVOA, who was thrilled to see the positive results regarding the annual conference.
