The 17th annual Shared Ownership Investment Conference, which took place from September 30-October 2 at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, was attended by more than 530 delegates from 36 countries. The much anticipated event featured an exciting lineup of guest speakers, including David Stillman, a renowned generational expert and best-selling author, and Peter Yesawich, a nationally recognized thought leader on emerging travel trends and vice chairman of MMGY Global.
One of the conference’s most popular sessions, “Meet the Leaders,” offered unique insights on the evolution and future of shared ownership from some of the industry’s top executives. New this year was a half-day Latin America program highlighted by guest speaker Álvaro Rattinger, author of New Game, New Rules, Marketing Vanguard, who shared the latest trends in social media and other online marketing strategies. In addition, the Shared Ownership Boot Camp, which was created especially for new entrants, offered the basics of the business from the experts and covered the essentials of entering the vacation ownership industry.
Produced and sponsored by Interval International, the Shared Ownership Investment Conference and seminars provide a forum to educate attendees about trends and opportunities and explore the various shared ownership business models. Since 1998, these events have been providing attendees in Africa, the Caribbean, Europe, Middle East, North and South America, and Asia with valuable industry knowledge on topics from financing, marketing and development to conversions, mixed-use resorts, and government regulations. The 18th Annual Shared Ownership Investment Conference will be held on October 25 – 27, 2016 at the Eden Roc Resort Miami Beach. For more information, visit www.sharedownershipinvestment.com.
