Prior to that he served as CFO for several other consumer focused companies, including Bankrate, Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores, Bally Total Fitness and Orbitz Worldwide, where from 2003 to 2009, he served in various executive leadership roles including Chief Financial Officer, President and Chief Executive Officer. From 1990 to 2003, Mr. Barnhart served in various finance and strategy roles for PepsiCo and The Pepsi Bottling Group. Barnhart holds an MBA in finance from the Booth School of Business and an undergraduate degree in economics from University of Chicago.
