Gold Coast-based timeshare company, Classic Holidays, has secured the top spot as the leading fundraiser ahead of the Great Endeavour Rally commencing on Saturday on the Gold Coast.
Classic Holidays’ CEO Ramy Filo and Resort Operations’ Morrison Duncan will once again get behind the wheel as ‘Team Classic’, raising dust and dollars for Endeavour Foundation for the fifth year.
Heading out in pole position as this year’s highest fundraiser with $47,000 raised ahead of the starting line, Classic Holidays has raised almost $140,000 for Endeavour Foundation since first taking part in the Rally in 2006, and then every year since 2015.
The eight day event will see the pair fire up their Subaru, the ‘Silver Gremlin’ in the 2018 Great Endeavour Rally, taking off from Macintosh Park on the Gold Coast this Saturday at 8.00am, to finish up in Yamba on June 23 via the NSW Western Plains.
CEO Ramy Filo said he was thrilled with the support Team Classic has received for this worthy cause.
“We are extremely proud that we have significantly exceeded our fundraising goal this year,” said Mr Filo. “It not only means we get to start in pole position every day during the event, it also means we can highlight the importance of this incredible organisation and the work they are able to do as a direct result of our fundraising efforts.
