Best-in-Class professionals bring record of success in luxury development

February 13, 2017 – Development plans are now well underway for the luxury “Virage Bayshore” condominium tower in Tampa, and leaders of the project are proud to announce an exceptional team of professionals have gathered to bring the property to life.

Plans for Virage Bayshore call for a new level of luxury in the Tampa Bay market, with a tower topping out at 24 stories and just 71 units. The site at 3401 Bayshore Boulevard is the last unclaimed parcel on Bayshore zoned for a high-rise tower.

“I’m immensely proud of the team we’ve been able to assemble for this project, as they each represent the best professionals in their respective fields,” said Ascentia Development Group Principal Jay Tallman. “The market is clearly responding to this project, as we’re already receiving an unprecedented level of unsolicited interest among potential buyers.”

Among the team members:

o   Ascentia Development Group of Sarasota, which recently built the heralded “Aria” condominium on Longboat Key, which includes a residence that just sold for a record $5.25 million.

o   Batson-Cook Development Company, the co-development partner on the Virage project, with more than 50 years of experience, and has developed more than $2 billion in premiere real estate projects across the Southeast since 2010.

o   Batson-Cook Construction, which has more than 100 years of experience in building construction across the Southeast.

o   Beasley & Henley Interior Design of Winter Park is leading the design of the Virage amenity spaces.

o   Smith & Associates Real Estate is the exclusive listing agent, with a team led by Dave Traynor, a specialist in luxury condominium sales.

o   United Landmark Associates, the area’s premiere property marketing firm, is leading marketing and advertising for the project.

o   Curts Gaines Hall Jones architects of Tampa, which has designed luxury condominiums across Florida, has created the overall design of the project.

o   Gardner Brewer Martinez-Monfort of Tampa is handling rezoning and title matters.

Among the premiere features of the building are Penthouse Residences of exceptionally large size. The top two floors of the tower offer a single penthouse residence each, with homes spanning 6,900-square-feet and panoramic views of Hillsborough Bay, South Tampa and downtown.

The following four floors are devoted to Estate Residences with just two 4,500-square-foot residences per floor. The Tower Residences range in size from 2,400 square feet to 3,300 square feet. Every residence in the tower has a private elevator entrance, 10-foot ceilings, and access to resort-style amenities such as an infinity-edge pool overlooking Bayshore, state-of-the-art wellness center, pet grooming facilities, and 24-hour staffed reception.

Formal sales are scheduled to begin in March, with construction commencing later this year.
