Interval International, a prominent worldwide provider of vacation services, celebrated its 40th anniversary at its annual Party With a Cause during the American Resort Development Association’s 2016 ARDA World convention, held earlier this month.
Sponsored each year by Interval, the party supports the ARDA International Foundation’s (AIF) research, market intelligence, education, and professional development programs. Since 2003, when it became a benefit, nearly $425,000 has been donated to AIF.
This year’s festivities were held at LIV nightclub at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, and headlined by rock legend Pat Benatar and her husband, Neil Giraldo.

Gilbert, president of Interval International. “In addition to raising funds for important initiatives, the 2016 Party With a Cause was a particularly special occasion. We recognized event sponsors, resort clients, and staff for their dedication to Interval during the last four decades.”
Also at the convention, Interval received two ARDY awards, one in the category of Sales and Marketing and the other in Advertising, Promotion & Communications. Both awards were presented at ARDA’s annual gala.
Earning the Alliance Partner accolade, Interval’s Affiliate Advantages program offers a collection of value-driven products with preferential pricing and services from industry-leading suppliers, exclusively for its affiliated clients. It is intended to enhance revenues, increase sales, assist with marketing, and improve operational efficiencies.
Part of the Interval HD channel, Real Members. Real Stories. in Mandarin won for video production with its compelling message about the benefits of shared ownership, expressed by actual consumers, in a language to serve a growing Chinese market.
