Kieran McKenna, Senior Vice President of Sales at Gold Coast based hospitality company Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific, has been named Best Industry Leader at the 2016 Perspective Magazine Awards in the US.
Mr McKenna, who leads a team of more than 530 sales employees located at Wyndham Corporate Centre on the Gold Coast as well as 18 sales sites across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji, beat a strong field of nominees to take out the prize at the prestigious industry event in New Orleans on February 4.
The Perspective Magazine Awards are produced by Perspective Magazine, one of the vacation ownership industry’s leading independent trade publications. The awards program is the only global recognition platform in the vacation ownership industry that is judged by both a panel of experts and industry peers.
Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific also won the awards for Best Print Media, Best Sales Professional and Best Financial Services, as well as the Best Interior Design category for Wyndham Hotel Melbourne’s sleek Presidential Suites.
President and Managing Director of Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific, Barry Robinson, said it was gratifying to see the company recognised on the international stage.
