Interval International, a prominent worldwide provider of vacation services, signed an agreement with Alliance Data’s card services business, a premier provider of private label, co-brand and business card programs, to offer members the new Interval World Mastercard®, which features unique opportunities to earn rewards for booking vacations and everyday purchases. Alliance Data manages more than 145 branded credit programs for some of the world’s most recognizable companies.

Vacation ownership purchasers are able to apply for instant card approval at point of sale with participating Interval member resorts. Current Interval members can apply via intervalworld.com or the Interval app. There is no annual fee and cardholders earn points on all purchases, with additional points currently awarded for select categories:
- 3 points earned for every $1 spent on Interval International purchases
- 2 points earned for every $1 spent at gas stations and restaurants
- 1 point earned for every $1 spent everywhere else Mastercard is accepted
Points can be used for rewards including statement credits, Interval membership renewals and upgrades, and other merchandise, such as gift cards and electronics. In addition, on their one-year account anniversary, cardholders in good standing receive a vacation certificate redeemable for an available one-week stay at select properties around the world.
Other valuable benefits currently available through the card include:
- 5,000 bonus points after spending $500 on everyday purchases, from gas to groceries to dining, within the first 90 days of the account opening
- Six months special financing on purchases of US$2,000 or more
- Mastercard benefits, including Zero Liability Protection to protect against fraudulent purchases, Mastercard ID Theft ProtectionTM, and Mastercard Airport ConciergeTM
