The group of nine members spent more than a week exploring the pristine wilderness of the Bella Coola Valley, enjoying picnic lunches, afternoon hikes through the forest and guided wildlife tours.
River otters, black bears and grizzlies could be seen each morning from the lodge’s private viewing deck, but members received an even better opportunity to get up-close to the animals on a river raft tour. Grizzlies bathed and fished on the riverbanks, as members silently drifted by.
