Orlando, Florida, September 5, 2018 – (PERSPECTIVE MAGAZINE) –  The Perspective Magazine Awards, a global recognition program for the timeshare / vacation ownership industry opens nominations for its 9th annual awards program.

Each year, vacation industry companies and individuals vie to win one or more of the 30+ accolades up for grabs that span a wide variety of market segments. Winners are announced in front an audience of senior-level peers at the renowned GNEX Conference, which will be held at Baha Mar, Nassau, The Bahamas from February 24-27, 2019.

Nominations are now open for hotels, resorts, vendors and industry professionals to submit entries at http://gnexconference.com/awards. Winners are determined by a panel of four judges along with online votes from the public where each judge represents 20 percent of the nominee’s overall score and the public vote accounts for the remaining 20 percent.

One category, however, does not follow the standard judging format. Sponsored by INTUITION, a powerful Customer Engagement Solution that is changing the way hotels and resorts communicate with guests and manage online reputation, a new Customer Satisfaction Award has been added to the program.

The Customer Satisfaction Award will be judged solely based on public opinion. Using INTUITION’s powerful business intelligence platform, participating resorts will be graded based on average review ratings from all major online review sites such as TripAdvisor, booking.com, Expedia, Google+, Facebook Reviews, Travelocity, Orbitz, Yelp, hotels.com and more.

Using an algorithm, similar to that used by leading review sites to rank resorts by popularity, the INTUITION software will grade the nominations based on a segment of 2017 reviews posted by vacationers to determine the winner(s). Participating resorts will also receive a detailed review analysis report courtesy of INTUITION after the awards program closes, that will show areas of success and areas for improvement.

Following a record-breaking and outstanding GNEX 2018 event in Miami, onboard the world’s first mega-yacht event venue, the 2019 event is slated to be the most extravagant to date. GNEX is returning to The Bahamas where it all began 9 years ago, but this time to the brand new $4.2 billion Baha Mar Resort on Nassau, set in 1,000 acres of luxurious beachfront resort which includes Grand Hyatt, SLS and Rosewood hotels, plus the largest casino in the Caribbean, 100,000 sq. ft. Convention Center, 30,000 sq. ft. Spa, stunning restaurants, luxury shopping and the Royal Blue Golf Course, designed by Jack Nicklaus.

Each attendee receives 1 free award entry for their company, with additional entries costing just $150 per category. The nomination process is easy, requesting up to 800-word description of why the company should win the chosen award, rather than a lengthy static questionnaire.

Nominations for the 2019 Perspective Magazine Awards are now open with a closing date of December 14, 2018.
