Exterior largeRamada Resort Phillip Island is once again getting jazzed up for the 11th annual Phillip Island Jazz Festival.

The boutique festival is set to be held at the resort from November 13 – 15 for the eighth consecutive year.

Resort Manager Daniel Aitken said after almost a decade, the partnership with Phillip Island Jazz continues to be strong, resulting in one of the most successful jazz festivals on the Australian music calendar.

“Jazz enthusiasts appreciate the relaxed atmosphere of the resort. The expansive grounds and quiet bush setting perfectly suit the smooth and soulful music that the festival is all about,” he said.

The resort is offering festival patrons a 20 per cent discount on best available accommodation rates and a discounted full breakfast for $19 per head (normally $25) at Numbers Restaurant.

The line-up includes some of the biggest names in Australian jazz including Creole Bells Revival Band, Shirazz, Beverley Sheehan, Honkey Tonk Boogie Band and La Mauvaise Reputation.

The festival program includes an opening three-course meal with complimentary wine on Friday night and entertainment from two premier acts – Licorice Allsorts and The Syncopators. Tickets are limited (110 max) and are available exclusively from Phillip Island Jazz. No tickets will be sold on the door.

Held in the resort’s appropriately-named Bass Room and available to all ages, tickets for the Saturday and Sunday are also available through Phillip Island Jazz. Seating is limited to 160 so jazz fans are encouraged to get in quickly, with early bird tickets already on sale.
