New Adopt-A-Memory Program Fulfills San Diego Foster Family’s Dream to go to Disneyland

Through the company’s new Adopt-A-Memory program, young Mariah, Evan and Destiny were able to enjoy their first vacation experience as a family with their new adoptive parents in San Diego, California. Teaming up with foster care leaders Together We Rise, ResortShare was able to spend time with the children and learn more about these amazing individuals and their loving new parents. While in foster care, Mariah, Evan and Destiny were unable to enjoy the normal experiences kids their age have. In the middle of their meet and greet, ResortShare presented the entire family with three day passes to Disneyland, a three day stay at a nearby luxury resort and three suitcases full of Disney clothes and toys, providing the children an unforgettable adventure ahead.

After numerous sessions, parenting classes and listening to heart wrenching personal accounts of foster care, Rick and Susan knew deep in their hearts that the domestic foster care path was the right choice for them. Mariah, Evan and Destiny were officially adopted in May of 2015 and since then, the family has worked hard to create a loving, safe and unique home and have always dreamed about taking a memorable vacation together to celebrate the family growth. With the help of ResortShare, this family was able to make their dream a reality and truly enjoy the summer season together.
