August 2, 2017 – Nicole Wickens is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the field of Construction Services and Hotel Hospitality.

Wickens’ professional title is CEO of Validus Construction Services. She brings over 26 years of career experience to her role, and specializes in making her mission to transform the combined vision of the project owners and consultants into a flawless physical reality by means of collaborative teamwork and skilled resource management.

Prior to forming Validus Construction Services, Wickens worked as a Senior Project Manager at Thor Construction.

“I provided cost control for projects from inception to finish, managed field and cost management of all current projects and bid package preparation and submission, coordination for client/owner of field and internal teams for smooth process and completion of projects, had involvement in design build coordination to provide opportunity for value engineering as well build clarifications/ideas and provided overall team and project support,” Wickens said.

Additionally, Wickens worked as a Project Manager and Account Manager at MC2 Events Exhibits Environments for three years.

To further her professional development, Wickens is a member of the Orlando Chamber of Commerce as well as Women Enterprising National Business Council. In recognition of her outstanding achievements in the field, she was named as Enterprising Woman Of The Year Champion 2016, and was named Business Owner of the Year by the Orlando Biz Journal.

Her professional goal is to inspire more women to enter the construction industry by setting an example of leadership and success, and when she is not working, Wickens enjoys travel, and art.
