Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Club (LHVC) and Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Resort, located in Puerto Plata on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic, were again a main sponsor in September of one of the most important foot races in the country, the Puerto Plata 10K Race.

2002, Mercedes Bejarán of the cloistered nuns of the Carmelite Order in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, received support from the bishop to open a home to care for the needs of handicapped children in the area. Casa Nazareth was known throughout the region for its love and specialized care for children with a variety of conditions ranging from autism and Down’s Syndrome to Cerebral Palsy and various mental and physical illnesses.
