On the one hand, the change means that decisions now rest squarely on the shoulders of timeshare people that know the industry best. On the other hand, they lose the connection to the Marriott mother ship that can offer much-needed protection in difficult times. Your thoughts?

It can be assumed that the spin-off will trade on the Marriott name as it works its way forward. It seems though, that the latest introduction of their timeshare “points” system as versus Marriott Rewards has created a headache and a lot of complaints. I think the new corporation will need to clarify why owners who’ve converted are so unhappy otherwise their prestige and sales volume is sure to suffer.

I believe it depends on how the Main Leaders of this Organization see it and what they will portrait this to their staff. In any type of product is more important how you deliver the information then the quality of the product it self. Fortunately regardless of some minor complications, MVC has a good reputation but is a good product. I believe the new changes and implementations have a good shot in having success.
