    With all of the discussions surrounding Twitter and the need to be transparent, doesn’t automating tweets fly in the face of that and do damage to your brand in the process?

    Yes, I think so. Twitter automation is obvious to anyone but the novice.  As an active participant on Twitter, I find myself skipping over these multiply messages without even a glance at the topic.

    Social Media is suppose to be social, a way to connect.  No one likes the automated phone systems we are forced to use these days… it is missing the human element, the connection to a person.  It makes them feel less valued as a customer.

    What message do you want to send to your customers and potential customers?
