Ashraf El Zarqa, The Chief Operating Officer of the award winning, ‘Best Time Share Resort in the Middle East and Europe’, Emirates Vacation Club. Having moved to the United Arab Emirates, mainly Dubai in 2000 when Dubai was very much still a desert. I joined the team at Marriott Vacation Club for Middle East and Europe, before moving on to Fairmount Private Residents Club, for the Middle East and South Africa. Which has lead me to where I stand today as the Chief Operating Officer of the Emirates Holiday Club.

Our board of directors saw the potential and opportunities in the tourism industry for the vacation ownership here in the UAE in particular and the Middle East in general. Therefore, they decided to take the first step towards achieving their vision in establishing Emirates Vacation Club at the Emirates Grand Hotel. We have high expectations for the future and I am excited to lead this venture.

What I do is magic! I open people’s eyes to the gateway of the perfect holiday. This is why I love the Vacation Club industry because it is full of passion, it requires good people’s skills and you talk to people about their dream vacations. The most interesting aspect of it is that you are challenged to change people’s life by leading them into the world of Holiday ownership, creating them a home from home whether it is for business or Leisure.
