The New Hampshire offices of Sell My Timeshare NOW and VacationOwnership.com were recently praised for their generous donations to the 120-year old Dover Children’s Home. The non-profit residential treatment program serves adolescents with emotional and behavioral difficulties from all New Hampshire communities.
Since it’s founding in 1893, the Home has been recognized and praised for providing intermediate-level residential care, case management and therapeutic services to vulnerable youth ages 12-20 who have been abused, neglected or committed delinquent acts. The Home provides a structured living environment where children are encouraged to develop more appropriate behaviors and social skills.[member]
Staff from the leading timeshare resale brokerage and Internet advertising company –also located in the Dover area – eagerly joined forces to provide a check for $1,680, a dozen $10 Wal-Mart gift cards, and tote bags filled with needed household items in time for holiday giving.
Adds Jason Tremblay, CEO of Sell My Timeshare NOW and VacationOwnership.com, “We were proud to do a small part in supporting this wonderful organization and enabling them to help young people who are facing extremely difficult challenges as they mature.”
Commented Donna Coraluzzo, Executive Director of the Dover Children’s Home, “The children were thrilled to find the Wal-Mart gift cards in their Christmas stockings! Thanks to the kindness of many community businesses such as Sell My Timeshare NOW, who volunteered their time and donated gifts and helpful items to the Home. Despite frustrating budget cuts, we continue to be diligent in finding ways to bridge the funding gap and will continue to provide exceptional care and life-changing treatment services these children desperately need.”
The Home has scheduled one of its annual fundraisers, the February 17 BOWL-A-THON
at Dover Bowl and its April 18 WINE, APPETIZER AND DESSERT TASTING at Blue Latitudes to help meet budgetary goals.[/member]
