Clive Daniel Home (www.clivedaniel.com), the award-winning Naples, Florida premier home furnishings retailer and its hospitality design division, Lubner Group, (www.LubnerGroup.com) have recently been selected to handle improvements to the Plaza Del Sol Town Center of Pelican Preserve in Fort Myers, Florida.
According to Nancy Woodhouse, IDS, VP of Design & Product Development for Lubner Group and lead designer on the project, her team will provide interior and exterior design updates for f the 77,000 square-foot Town Center.
Says Woodhouse, “We are partnering with WCI-Pelican Preserve to complete several phases of improvement in these buildings. Our immediate goal is to provide design direction for improvements throughout many areas of the Town Center to include, carpeting, furnishings, wall coverings, specifications for exterior paint, and window coverings. It’s important to us to enhance the natural beauty of the preserves and incorporate that into the design color palette, paying special attention to functions of each area, such as card room, billiard room, sewing room, common spaces and the community coffee/lounge with computer room and library.”[member]

One of the Plaza Del Sol buildings includes the Destinations Restaurant, and a ceramics and arts and crafts room. A second building houses an indoor theater, computer and card rooms. Additional buildings feature fitness and aerobics rooms, as well as an indoor swimming pool and various spa treatment rooms. Outdoor amenities include tennis, basketball, volleyball, and a resort-style swimming pool.
