Stephens, Jr., who has relocated to Orlando to spearhead HVS’s hotel consulting and valuation efforts in the US’s second largest hotel market. This adds to the existing presence of HVS Shared Ownership Services in the Central Florida region. Donald has been an active participant in the hotel industry for more than 28 years, preparing hundreds of appraisals on existing and proposed hotels, resorts, golf courses, and mixed-use projects covering a wide range of geographical experience throughout the United States.
“Donald brings a strong appraisal and consulting background having worked with the financial lending community, institutional clients, government agencies, corporate entities, legal and accounting professionals, developers, and private individuals,” explains Conroy. “He has provided market and feasibility studies, highest and best use analysis, litigation support, portfolio analysis, and consulting services on an extensive range of property types. He has conducted appraisals and investment counseling for sale/purchase transactions, financing, insurance claims, estate valuations, purchase price accounting allocation, and corporate planning.”[member]
Donald has a range of geographical experience and has appraised properties throughout the United States and the Atlantic Provinces of Eastern Canada. He is an Associate Member of the Appraisal Institute.
Donald is a Partner Member of Visit Orlando, the Orlando Tourism Bureau and an Allied Member of Central Florida Hotel & Lodging Association. Donald is a Past Member of the Palm Beach County Hotel and Lodging Association, a Past Member of B.O.M.A. (Building Owners and Managers Association), and a Past Executive Member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada, Nova Scotia Chapter.[/member]
