Bluegreen Corporation (NYSE: BXG), a leading provider of Colorful Places to Live and Play, today announced its corporate fundraising efforts for the month of March will be directed towards the Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami division of the American Red Cross. As Bluegreen originally intended to donate proceeds from fundraising efforts through the month of March to the American Red Cross in acknowledgement of Red Cross Month, the company decided to designate all contributions to the Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami effort. Furthermore, the Bluegreen Charitable Giving Committee announced its plans to match any associate or internal fundraising effort through March 31, 2011, up to $2,500.
