John Spence, Chairman and Owner of Karma Royal Group, was recognized as one of Western Australia’s top entrepreneurs at the 10th annual Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards held in Perth on Thursday night.
Mr. Spence was awarded the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of The Year Award for Western Australia in the Services category.
This award is the world’s most prestigious business award for entrepreneurs and encourages entrepreneurial activity, while recognizing the contribution of people who inspire others with their vision, leadership and achievement. It is the first truly global award of its kind and celebrates those who are building and leading successful, growing and dynamic businesses, recognizing them through regional, national and global awards programs in more than 50 countries.
“I am very happy to be recognized with some of the best business leaders in Australia,” said Spence. “This is just the latest example of how far timeshare and the shared ownership product has come, and it really is all about the product. I believe a timeshare business needs roots and continuity. By developing resorts you have that. Your product is your rock.”
