Hilton Worldwide Enters into Strategic Agreement with AT&T to Enhance Internet Services Across Portfolio of Hotels
July 15, 2010Hilton Worldwide today announced that it has entered into a strategic agreement with AT&T* for a fully-managed suite of Wi-Fi and Internet services. AT&T, one of the largest providers of hosted Internet access in the hospitality industry, will provide Hilton Worldwide’s ten brands with a high-quality online experience for guests in more than 3,200 properties in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
AT&T will manage and operate Hilton Worldwide’s “Stay Connected” program, which provides guests with access to high-speed Internet services. Hilton Worldwide’s properties will receive fast AT&T Wi-Fi and wired connectivity over a common high-speed Internet access platform, making it more convenient for guests to get online in their hotel rooms, meeting spaces and public areas.
