Global Connections Resort Employees Help Clean Daytona Beach
June 21, 2010Employees and vendors from Sea Shells Beach Club in Daytona Beach, Florida, celebrated Earth Day recently by participating in a beach cleanup near their resort, which is owned and managed by Global Connections, Inc. (GCI). (www.exploregci.com)
Emily Ceruzzi, General Manager of the 38-unit Sea Shells Beach Club, organized the event and mapped out a route for the cleanup, starting on the beach from the resort’s oceanfront entry. Along the two-mile round trip area, guests and employees picked up trash found along the way. Following the beach clean up, the resort provided a cook-out to everyone who participated.
