The annual ARDA meeting serves as a barometer for the overall health and general outlook for the shared ownership industry – and this year’s report is a good one. More than 2,500 timeshare industry professionals gathered in Las Vegas for the 2010 American Resort Development Association (ARDA) Convention and Exposition, held March 14 through March 18, 2010 at the Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino.
The mood, for the most part, was cautiously optimistic. It seems that most companies are doing better than they were
last year at this time – some much better – and there’s a consensus that the economy is improving, financing is becoming more readily available again, and our industry is poised to once again make great strides (perhaps not in 2010, but within the next two to five years).
