Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific, one of the Gold Coast’s largest employers, received five awards at the Australian Timeshare and Holiday Ownership Council’s (ATHOC) National Industry Awards held on the Gold Coast last night.
ATHOC is the representative body for the Australian timeshare (vacation ownership) industry and the ATHOC awards recognise exceptional performance and contribution within the industry.
Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific received the ATHOC Award for Social Media for its Kira Westwick ‘Celebrity Chef’ social media campaign, which was a collection of videos distributed across YouTube and Facebook, and has been Wyndham’s most viewed playlist to date.
The campaign was a great success as it had 446 views with an average watch percentage of 56 per cent for each of the videos viewed on YouTube. On Facebook, there was a reach of over 42,000 with Facebook video views being 4,716, and 27 social media shares.
