Interval International, a prominent worldwide provider of vacation services, announced the promotion of Ximena Villegas to director of resort sales and service for eastern Mexico. She reports to Marcos Agostini, Interval’s senior vice president of resort sales and business development for Latin America.

Villegas is based in Cancun and her responsibilities include providing sales, marketing, and operations support to Interval’s existing affiliated resorts, as well as building the company’s developer client base in the region.

“I am very proud to promote Ximena, who has played a significant role in our expansion in Mexico,” Agostini commented. “During her tenure, some of the country’s leading hospitality brands have joined the Interval resort network.”

Villegas started her career with Interval in 2008 as account executive in resort sales and service for eastern Mexico, and most recently was region manager. She is active in the Mexican Resort Development Association (AMDETUR) and the Quintana Roo Vacation Club Association (ACLUVAQ).

She received a bachelor of business administration degree, with a specialty in finance, from Las Americas University in Puebla, Mexico.
