Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific has opened the doors to a pop-up sales site located within Ramada Resort Shoal Bay in a bid to help Port Stephens residents and resort guests appreciate the concept of vacation ownership.
The company has employed five local sales and marketing staff to man the temporary site, which will also provide additional support to existing vacation owners in the WorldMark South Pacific Club by Wyndham.
Barry Robinson, President and Managing Director of Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific, said Ramada Resort Shoal Bay was chosen for the pop-up site as it boasts strong occupancy and is a popular drive-to destination for Newcastle and Sydney residents.
“It is important for us to open a dialogue with our guests so we can help them understand Wyndham’s vacation ownership model, which is a far cry from those of previous decades that offered one week a year in the same resort,” Mr Robinson said.
“Our flexible, credit-based product allows owners to purchase access to a network of resort accommodation across South East Asia and the Pacific Rim in advance for the cost of an up-front acquisition fee and an annual maintenance levy. It is a style of timeshare that has proven popular with our 50,000 vacation owners in the WorldMark South Pacific Club and one we are extremely proud of.”
With its ideal beachfront position and breathtaking views of Tomaree Headland, Ramada Resort Shoal Bay is a popular holiday spot, ideal for business and leisure travellers alike. The 190-room resort is a mixed-use property catering to traditional hotel guests, as well as vacation owners in the WorldMark South Pacific Club.
