Trading Places International (TPI), a provider of exchange and management services to vacation owners and an operating business of Interval Leisure Group (Nasdaq: IILG), today announced that Lindo Mar Resort in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, which is managed by TPI, has been named to TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame. This accolade is granted only to businesses that have won a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence by receiving consistently great reviews for five years in a row. Guests who reviewed Lindo Mar Resort on TripAdvisor praised the world-class resort with such comments as “Everything was exactly right!” and “Can’t even imagine vacationing anywhere else!”
“Admittance to this prestigious group is a real tribute to the resort’s hard-working staff,” said Doug Wilcox, TPI’s senior vice president of resort management. “Lindo Mar is a beautiful property and the staff provides unsurpassed personal service, exceeding guest expectations daily. Visitors appreciate their efforts, many of them coming back year after year to enjoy the resort’s famous hospitality.”
Lindo Mar Resort is nestled on Conchas Chinas Beach in the exclusive southern section of Puerto Vallarta. Named for the “pretty sea” unfolding at its feet, Lindo Mar Resort offers guests the romance of sunsets in an authentic “Old Mexico” setting, made famous in the film “The Night of the Iguana.” The one-, two-, and three-bedroom condominium suites feature beautiful ocean views from balconies or patios. Amenities include the beach, sparkling pool, La Playita Restaurant, and fitness center, as well as a hospitality desk to book Puerto Vallarta adventures.
To qualify for a Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travelers on TripAdvisor, and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months.
