With acres of luxurious indoor gardens, incredible dining options, pool parties and other entertaining amenities, the four destinations offer uniquely-themed family festivities presented by Pepsi®, beginning Memorial Day weekend.
“Music of America” at Gaylord National Resort – National Harbor, Maryland
Weekends from May 26 to September 4, 2017
Gaylord National Resort’s incredible 19-story glass atrium will fill with the sound of American music as SummerFest delivers a special concert series throughout the resort’s venues. Highlights include “Summer Soiree: A Night of Jazz” at Old Hickory Steakhouse; “Sips and Sounds” with a range of musical styles at Belvedere Lobby Bar; and “Burgers, Brews and Country Tunes” at National Pastime Sports Bar & Grill.
Guests can experience the coolest new way to enjoy music and dance at the Silent Disco Parties inside the resort’s rooftop lounge, Pose. Party-goers don special headphones that let them select from different DJ-designed music mixes and dance away to their own style preference. Kids also can dance to their own beat as the Summer PJ Parties offer their own Silent Disco in the resort’s atrium.
As night falls on the Nation’s Capital, guests experience the new atrium laser light show, Americana, featuring samples of some of America’s favorite tunes choreographed with lights and dancing water from the resort’s signature fountain. More family fun awaits with Aquafina® Summer Movie Matinees poolside and a Music Mystery Scavenger Hunt inside the resort’s atrium. Other SummerFest offerings include summer cocktail specials, yoga classes, seasonal lime and coconut spa treatments, plus special hair, facial and massage offers at Relâche Spa.
“Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” at Gaylord Opryland Resort – Nashville, Tennessee

Guests will find themselves transported through the looking glass into a wonderland of fun at Gaylord Opryland Resort. The resort’s nine acres of indoor gardens beckon guests to explore and experience the whimsical décor of giant mushrooms, caterpillars, teacups and more, all inspired by Carroll’s stories. Wonderland activities include the Queen of Arts Tour featuring local artists, “Follow the White Rabbit” Scavenger Hunt, and Hatter’s Floating Tea Party Cruise along the resort’s ¼-mile-long indoor river.
With 20 restaurants and lounges, guests find a creative culinary scene with food and drink selections that range from merry un-birthday cupcakes to teapot cocktails and Rabbit Hole whiskey flights. The “Eat Me, Drink Me” Junior Chefs Camp connects kids with the hotel’s award-winning chefs, even providing a kid-sized chef hat and apron to take home.
Additional family summer activities include Wonderland-inspired Relâche Spa treatments for adults and kids, free nightly fountain shows, family-friendly films every night, the Build-A-Bear Workshop® experience, and the poolside Aquafina® Splash Party with music, food, drinks and lawn games.
“Surf In & Rock Out” at Gaylord Palms Resort – Kissimmee, Florida

The spirit of beach parties and summer ballads beckons visitors to Gaylord Palms Resort. With three new water slides and a double FlowRider surf simulator, the resort’s Cypress Springs Water Park is the center of the SummerFest family fun. The daily Aquafina® RiffTide Pool Party and I Wanna Rock! Sing-A-Long Show on the poolside stage will encourage guests to let loose their inner rockstars as they sing, dance, and play along to favorite pop and rock hits.
On select nights, the FlowRider will transform into a “GlowRider” for the colorful Paint the Waves pool event as DJ Cowabunga Chris spins tunes as Cypress Springs transforms into a psychedelic, multicolored playground.
Additional themed activities will include the Legends of Rock & Surf Scavenger Hunt and Rock n’ Roll Never Dies Ghost Tour inside the atrium; poolside movies; arts and crafts, games, airbrush tattoos, rocker hair braids and face painting on the pool deck plus the Build-A-Bear Workshop® experience, PJ Party Under the Sea, Junior Chefs Camp, specialty food and beverage pairings and rock-inspired Relâche Spa experiences.
“Lone Star Adventures” at Gaylord Texan Resort – Grapevine, Texas

At Gaylord Texan Resort, families will discover Texas-sized entertainment throughout the resort.
Guests need to round up their posse to solve clues together at the all-new Escape the Wild West: Escape Room, or follow along with Crazy Pete’s Panning Adventure to explore the resort and pan for gold and hidden gems to take home.
Other Lone Star State activities include the Texan Canvas Corral painting experience; Hank’s Outlaw Scavenger Hunt through the atriums; Legends of the Lone Star Wild Wild West Show, a 20 minute, live-action comedy featuring amazing performances by gunfighters, saloon girls, a trick roper and the hero, Cactus Charlie. Guests can also enjoy Junior Chefs Camp and the Build-A-Bear Workshop® experience.
Guests will not want to miss Friday Night Fireworks over Lake Grapevine, preceded by the All-American Garage Party with music and food as a live DJ hosts fun and games. For fun in the Texas sun, guests can join the Aquafina® Splash Party with a live DJ, hair-braiders, a glitter and airbrush tattoo artist, and games at Paradise Springs, the resort’s own 10-acre pool and lazy river playground.
