Concord Servicing Corporation, the Scottsdale, Arizona-based consumer obligation servicing company, is pleased to announce that its Vice President of Product Development, Steven Knudsen, has been notified he is a finalist in the annual American Resort Development Association (ARDA) 2019 Awards Program. Knudsen was nominated in the ARDA “Technology Project Manager or Team” category.

Knudsen, who has served in several leadership roles during his 13 years at Concord, was nominated for the award based upon his outstanding professional performance in 2018. Among many other exceptional achievements, Knudsen led the development and transformation of Concord’s product development team and paved the way for increased collaboration between Concord’s business and technology teams, using Agile software development methodology. His primary focus has been the effective delivery of highly useful technology products and services that are customizable to the exacting needs of Concord’s clients.

“Working as a team, and in conjunction with one of our new clients,” Knudsen said, “we developed new, scalable solutions that gave us the opportunity to discuss and review each step with the client and fine-tune the process to deliver precisely—and cost-effectively—our client’s objectives.”

ARDA is a Washington D.C.-based trade association representing the vacation ownership and resort development industries. ARDA criteria for consideration of the award is demanding. The organization is committed to recognizing the best nominees submitted in categories that include overall professional excellence. One winner in each awards category will be selected at the ARDA Awards Gala on Wednesday, April 10, 2019. The ceremony is a part of ARDA’s World 2019 Annual Convention & Expo, which this year will be held April 7-11, 2019, at the Hilton Orlando in Orlando, Florida.

Shaun O’Neill, Concord’s President and COO, says he’s extremely gratified that Knudsen’s exceptional work is being so widely recognized in and by the industry. “There are so many positives connected with Steven’s accomplishments that it’s difficult to single one of them out,” O’Neill said. “Thanks to him and his team, their work is helping us become even better partners with our clients.”
