There’s something truly unique at Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV). Walk into any of our Club resorts worldwide and you will see and experience the authentic hospitality being provided to members and guests by our 6,000 Team Members who are the Heart of Hilton.

It is through this spirit of hospitality that HGV has successfully expanded its resort portfolio of more than 60 Club affiliated resorts worldwide, which include 17 HGV developed and managed resorts in Hawaii, Manhattan, Las Vegas, Orlando, Miami Beach and more. Thus far in 2015, HGV has fortified its growth strategy with the debut of Ocean 22 by Hilton Grand Vacations Club, a luxuriously appointed, condominium-style resort with one-, two- and three-bedroom, ocean-view and oceanfront suites in Myrtle Beach, as well as the development of a new oceanfront resort on Hilton Head Island.

For more than 20 years, Conrad Hilton’s timeless vision to fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality has been at the core of our corporate culture. Everyday around the globe our smart, dedicated and passionate Team Members are creating inclusive experiences and making a positive impact within the timeshare industry and the communities where we live and work.

Over the years, our focus on diversity and inclusion has empowered our global workforce to contribute their best work. We serve guests from all parts of the world and from all lifestyles and have developed strategies that cultivate a work environment of inclusiveness. Therefore, diversity is embedded in the way we do business.

One such strategy is our Diversity and Inclusion Council, which honors, preserves and celebrates the cultural heritages of our Team Members through interactive activities and events that recognize key holidays, historic milestones and events. Our Team Member Resource Groups (TMRGs) further promote awareness and understanding of our diversity. These vibrant forums for engagement currently include Women, African American, Hispanic/Latino, LGBT, Asian Pacific Islander, Veterans and Abilities. Our teams truly help to create welcoming work environments and foster the same stewardship to create amazing experiences for our customers. Hilton Worldwide’s commitment to diversity and inclusion has been recognized by Working Mother Magazine, LatinaStyle Magazine, Hispanic Business Magazine and Women’s Professional Magazine.

Our exceptional workplace culture at HGV has been validated by well-respected organizations, including Perspective Magazine’s 2014 Best Places to Work; the Orlando Sentinel’s Central Florida’s Top 100 Companies for Working Families for five consecutive years; and the Southern Nevada Human Resources Association’s (SNHRA) Best Places to Work in 2015. Additionally, we were proud to be honored by the American Resort Development Association (ARDA) with the prestigious Circle of Excellence Employer of the Year Award in 2013.

However, it is our Team Members who drive us to continually evolve and develop an environment that supports success at work and at home. In order for our Team Members to give their best to our members and guests, we must first give our best to our Team Members. To foster a favorable work-life balance, HGV provides an array of benefit offerings that Team Members may tailor to best support their needs, quality of life, goals and future. By providing Team Members with the resources they need to do their jobs well, address their personal needs and grow and develop with the company, we are able to have a more engaged, responsive and enduring workforce.

We value the contributions our Team Members make, and we encourage our leaders to celebrate, recognize and reward Team Member performance on a regular basis. HGV provides innovative and inspiring ways to recognize, appreciate and motivate Team Members through various initiatives from Team Member milestones (e.g., service anniversaries and birthdays) to department-specific recognitions (e.g., customizable certificates and thank-you cards). Our global recognition programs, such as Catch Me at My Best, CEO Light & Warmth Award and International Housekeeping Week, recognize Team Members who impact customers, peers, resorts and the community. These programs instill a sense of team spirit because they allow Team Members opportunities to have their voices heard and their efforts acknowledged.

Understanding that the future of our business is based on the investment we make in our current workforce, HGV offers our Team Members with opportunities to expand their skills, knowledge and experiences through formal education, training programs and leadership development programs. The most extensive of these programs exists through the Hilton Worldwide University platform. All global Team Members have access to more than 2,500 learning programs, delivered in a variety of ways to fit unique learning styles and schedules within the 24/7 nature of our business. Last year, the HGV Learning and Development team offered 200+ courses, reaching more than 13,000 participants.

To help Team Members achieve a better work-life balance, HGV integrates a spirit of fun engagement and thoughtfulness into the workday at our resorts, corporate offices and call centers. HGV invites Team Members and their families to special events and social gatherings to stay connected and enjoy some downtime with one another. Some of these include movie nights, ice cream socials, holiday celebrations, Bring Our Children to Work Day, financial and wellness classes, complimentary meals and special services, such as mobile mammograms, flu shots and massages.

Service is at the heart of our organization, and every day our Team Members devote countless resources to strengthen our communities. As part of Hilton Worldwide’s Global Month of Service annual volunteer event, more than 1,200 HGV Team Members participate in nearly 50 activities to enhance communities around the world. Notably, in Orlando where the HGV corporate offices are located, 150 colleagues work to complete a variety of service projects to benefit the USO, Fairways for Warriors and the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida. Throughout the year, we collaborate with many local organizations to support veterans, foster youth opportunities, strengthen communities and promote environmental preservation.

Sustainability is a core business standard. Hilton Worldwide takes a comprehensive approach to sustainability – reducing our impact and looking at all aspects of our business – from the products and services used throughout our resorts to deliver outstanding customer experiences, to how we conserve and use energy and water, to building more efficient hotels. Recently, our new urban Hawaii timeshare resort, Hokulani Waikiki by Hilton Grand Vacations Club, was recognized for sustainable design, construction and operations and achieved LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). The resort earned the internationally recognized certification for implementing environmentally friendly construction practices and building systems.

Our values of Hospitality, Integrity, Leadership, Teamwork, Ownership and Now unite our Team Members around a common commitment to be part of the lives of our members and guests, invite them into our resorts, extend our unique spirit of hospitality and be good neighbors in the communities where we live and work. Our Team Members are the driving force behind those efforts. It is their talent, passion and commitment to our brand’s distinctive legacy that has ensured the success of HGV. They are the center of all we do, as they are and continue to be the Heart of Hilton.
